An advocate movement started in 1990 by Johnnie and Harvella Jones, two years after they arrived from Ohio to Kingwood, Texas, and learned they were living in a homeowner association environment requiring annual maintenance fees that if not paid could cause foreclosure of your homestead.

They began to go to Austin, Texas in 1993 to testify before legislative hearings once they learned their homestead was being threatened due to non payment of maintenance fees.  Once they learned they had annual fees to pay, they also learned the fees were illegally raised and fought to get them corrected.  After being pursued by two homeowner associations in which one was actually a trails association with foreclosure power until the day their homestead was lost to foreclosure December 5, 1995, they formed the Texas Homeowner's Advocate Group the next year in which they gathered homeowner advocates from across the state into a group.

This year, Harvella Jones formed the National appendage of the Homeowner Advocate groups and the original Texas advocate group is now pending a charitable endeavor.

The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC is backed with more than 15 years' of industry experience.  Our group consist of homeowners across the country some of which communicate with each other via the internet.  We are a bona fide advocate group and believe 100% in no homeowner association foreclosures.  It is our opinion that the 1% foreclosure you believe is okay could be the one against a minority, a handicap, a senior citizen, a whistle blower, or anyone with a legitimate complaint.  No Texas homestead or any other state property should be subject to homeowner association foreclosures when the Constitution of that state does not allow them.  Any caselaw or statute instituted that violates a state Constitution, should be repealed by the legislative body.  Any legislative body that fail and refuse to protect the Constitution they took an oath to protect should be removed from office by the voters.

The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC provides top-notch homeowner advocate support regarding homeowner association issues along with a great looking group logo shirt and a writing subscription to a great on-line newspaper Write Your Own Stories (which includes a free classified ad) - a combination that can't be beat!  There is a one-time $20.00 membership fee.

Through our commitment and experience The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC has established a relationship with other homeowners that has given them the strength to stand up for their rights and save their property from abuse and information that will last a lifetime!  Homeowners united!!
